This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the excitement of a night of Virginia Tech football as the Hokies begin their season. Virginia Tech's illustrious legacy began in 1892, and the Hokies currently enjoy the longest official bowl game streak in college football, participating in the postseason for more than 20 years. With a fan seating capacity of over 65,000, Lane Stadium/Worsham Field, home to Hokie football, is considered one of the loudest venues in the country. With an exhilarating team entrance, Virginia Tech is said to have one of the best game day atmospheres in all of college football.
